CopperAPI

cpp
#include <VAmiga.h>
cpp
class CopperAPI

Defined in VAmiga.h:602

API of the Copper.

Public Attributes

ReturnNameDescription
GuardsAPIbreakpointsThe Copper breakpoints.
GuardsAPIwatchpointsThe Copper watchpoints.

breakpoints

cpp
GuardsAPI breakpoints

Type: GuardsAPI

Defined in VAmiga.h:611

The Copper breakpoints.

watchpoints

cpp
GuardsAPI watchpoints

Type: GuardsAPI

Defined in VAmiga.h:613

The Copper watchpoints.

Public Methods

ReturnNameDescription
const CopperInfo &getInfo constReturns the component's current state.
const CopperInfo &getCachedInfo constReturns the most recent state snapshot recorded by the emulator thread (see getInfo()).
stringdisassemble constDisassembles a Copper instruction.
stringdisassemble constDisassembles a Copper instruction.
boolisIllegalInstr constChecks whether a Copper instruction is illegal. A Copper instruction is classified as illegal if it is tries custom chip register it has no access to.

getInfo

const

cpp
const CopperInfo & getInfo() const

Defined in VAmiga.h:624

Returns the component's current state.

getInfo() reads the live state on the calling thread. The result is only consistent if the emulator is paused or suspended. getCachedInfo() returns the snapshot the emulator thread has recorded most recently, which is the one to use while the emulator runs. Both return references that can be overwritten by a later call or by the emulator thread, so copy the data if you need to keep it.

getCachedInfo

const

cpp
const CopperInfo & getCachedInfo() const

Defined in VAmiga.h:626

Returns the most recent state snapshot recorded by the emulator thread (see getInfo()).

disassemble

const

cpp
string disassemble(isize list, isize offset, bool symbolic) const

Defined in VAmiga.h:637

Disassembles a Copper instruction.

Parameters

ParameterTypeDescription
listisizeThe Cooper list to take the instruction from
offsetisizeOffset of the instruction relative to the start of the list.
symbolicboolThe output format. The flag indicates whether the instruction should be be disassembled in symbolic, human-readable form or in raw form as a sequence of hexadecimal numbers.

disassemble

const

cpp
string disassemble(u32 addr, bool symbolic) const

Defined in VAmiga.h:643

Disassembles a Copper instruction.

Parameters

ParameterTypeDescription
addru32The address of the Cooper instruction in memory.
symbolicboolOutput format.

isIllegalInstr

const

cpp
bool isIllegalInstr(u32 addr) const

Defined in VAmiga.h:650

Checks whether a Copper instruction is illegal. A Copper instruction is classified as illegal if it is tries custom chip register it has no access to.

Parameters

ParameterTypeDescription
addru32The address of the Cooper instruction in memory.
